So many new baby items in the past couple of years since my first born arrived. Prior to Val’s birth the good folks over at Nested Bean contacted me about a new product called the Zen Swaddle. LOL 🙂 Don’t worry, she wasn’t harmed…more like snug as a bug in a rug! My husband was starting to swaddle her so tight that she looked like she was in a baby straight jacket! The blankets were getting bigger and bigger from being stretched out. One way or another she would find a way to wiggle a hand or entire arm out and then boom!…awake! Time after time we would undo the swaddled blanket and repeat. There was one thing about using a blanket that was always a struggle though…keeping her little arms tucked inside. We registered for tons of “swaddling” blankets and when G was born we wrapped her up like a little burrito all the time.
